Water leaking into boot?
I’ve had a look at mine and it’s difficult to see where the water could be coming from but I think I would start with checking everything is sealed around the channelling of the tailgate.

I’m afraid not. It still drips occasionally, but never found the source of the drip.
You’ve prodded me know, so I’ll have to have another look.

I also discovered the lining on the left side of the boot to be very moist.
I was installing a newly bought Jag Ctek trickle charger as the
battery was low and was met by this additional issue.
I’ve removed all the lining on the left side shut the boot hosed the outside down then climbed in to have a look.
I can see three areas where the water in leaking in photos attached
The only issue is not knowing the original point of entry.
I will continue looking tomorrow although will give the dealership a call Monday as another thread indicated they were covered for water damage/ingress under JLR’s 6yr paint and corrosion warranty so hopefully I can get it delt with under that and not have to solve myself. I’ll keep the thread posted.

and the three white plastic studs in the boot only visible when the lining is removed. These must hold on the plastic cover fairings around the boot lid outside the rubber seal. (An area that should allow water to pass under the fairing without dripping though as there are plenty of area where water can get underneath.)

Ok watching with interest. I wonder if it’s getting in via the tailgate hinges and running down the back of the trim?

I removed all the interior panels of the left hand side which come out with little problem. The right side being dry. Closed the lid again and hosed the boot.
I discovered the water was traveling under the lining of the trim outside the seal of the boot the “U” shaped gutter area as it should. But leaking in through where the suds that hold this trim in place pierce the bodywork. These studs have a integrated rubber seal that isn't up to the job.
There are three white trim studs on the boots side and one at the top which was one of the worst leakers letting water in through the ceiling in the cabin through the roof airbag area behind the passenger seat.
I cleaned all the areas and re fitted using some clear silicone to seal the around the holes before pushing the studs through the bodywork to seal (siliconed parts can still be pulled apart when needed)
I've re-hose tested and it all seams good. I'll leave out the interior trim for a week and go though a few car washes (if it doesn’t rain in the next day or two) an see how it fairs.
Additionally I did have to remove the tailgate gas strut just where it meets the car. To do this just requires releasing the ball sockets by removing the metal retaining clip.
You need to support the open tailgate / prop it open with a length of timber before this is disconnected.

Whats really annoying is that I have a late 2017 f type R v8 coupe AWD and it has the same F'ing problem on nearside rear. Issue with crazing on headl;ights too. Known Jag issues but they have not put them right at factory. Shysters. Love the car!!
I have a Panther! A black jaguar is a Panther! Money may not buy happiness, but I'd rather cry in a Jaguar than be ecstatic on a bus.
