That's a very good price you paid for the Michelin's.

I've previously bought tyres from asdatyres.co.uk but never even thought about Costco. Only thing is my nearest Costco warehouse is 40 miles away and you have to get the tyres fitted at one of their warehouses as they don't deliver to any independent tyre fitting garages. Also, with Costco you have to become a member to buy from them online and their annual subscription is £15.

I've compared 2 x Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tyres between costco.co.uk and blackcircles.com.........blackcircles works out £35 cheaper (including VAT, balancing and fitting) and they deliver to my local tyre fitting garage.

I recently paid € 490 for only the two rears. This is considered cheap this side of the channel..
But someone who bought my old Discovery 3 told me that the cheap place to get new tires is
in Germany. He boasts they are 50% of the price here, but that I think is a bit too much.

Anybody in Germany has a quote ?

I'd consider it cheap this side of the channel, as well! Though I'm not a Costco person. The rears I've seen are 50% more expensive than the fronts, too!

Reading your previous post I can see that you paid €490 for only the two rear tyres (I assume this includes fitting/balancing etc) which equates to £417 sterling. That’s £15 cheaper than what I have mentioned above so you’ve had a good deal there.

In the UK, I doubt you’d get a much cheaper price than the one I’ve quoted from blackcircles.com

Please search google and do the research. It’s worth it!
The 4S is a newer tyre, and having swapped from the PZeros, they are worth every penny, euro, or dollar

Nope, I think Rogere works at a bank and spilled his beans on a drastic change in exchange rates banks foresee after BREXIT..

The UK will be the Hong Kong of the Northern hemispere and the new Switzerland it seems..
