I'ver heared this before. We only had some problems the first 4000km, like they needed 'running in'.
Since then, upto the 26k they behaved flawless. Maybe it has to to with the toplayer of rubber.
After curing the toplayer has other properties then the material deeper down..

These are such difficult questions to answer
I drive hard where I can, but also periodically cruise 250 mile return to LHR. Latter causes near zero wear, while former could strip tyres in 5k
I straight line islands so zero wear, don’t dry turn, etc. and hope to get 10k out of my PS4’s

Personally I think aggressively driving or poor driving, not fast or hard wears out tyres, but each to their style and wallet

It's easy lend the car to a magazine revue guy for just one day. The car will come back with bald tyres. Result,,.

All seems relative I suppose.....I get 3,000 miles out of my Ariel Atom tyres (but as I do 1,500 miles a year who cares!)......my last daily, a Golf R did 40,000....but my new daily, an Audi SQ5+ seems to be struggling to do 20,000. Just curious what the majority get from theirF Type.....as I really want to change when it’s time!
