Some poor chap on Reddit lost his FType in the recent storm - utterly devastating for him... (I asked permission to share)

Oh no, that is awful and presumably a write off based on cost to repair, I would be gutted. Bye bye car 52264.

I've just hugged and comforted mine.
I constantly poop myself as although ours is sat inside a temp/humidity controlled garage, it's under a large Oak tree that is scraggly as hell because the owner is too tight to get it crowned.

Let's hope his insurance company are all over it and don't mess him about in such circumstances.
...he says with more hope than conviction.
I had a similar size tree come down and smash the granite garden table we'd been sat at with the neighbours only the previous evening.
It drove the metal chair legs straight through the decking.
"Things" can be replaced - however gutted he must feel right now.

Oh s**t!
I'm just looking across the road at the huge tree opposite. If it fell in my direction my car would look very similar.
