What an idiot.

I did the rear pads last week, then left the wheelnut key in the one wheel and went to bed the pads in. It's gone

I dont have a note of the key details either.

Anyone else had this issue and if so, what did you do to resolve the matter.

Thanks in advance..

Sigh.

Have a look in the manual wallet.
They often put the keycode thing in the pocket in there.
Otherwise a dealer should be able to help using your vin.

Easily done. I've looked into this before and I think the last letter on the build sheet for the wheels is letter for the locking wheel nut key.
If you PM me your reg I'll have a look.

Hi,
Also had this issue.
Jaguar dealers have a master set and can then order the correct set.
Only problem is you have to buy a whole new set.
Around 100
Good luck

Yep, done the same thing in the past. Fortunately it had come off about 400 yards from where I started and found it lying in the gutter. Phew!

My jaguar indy is going to have a go at removing them when i go in for service in April, otherwise i'll have to get bent over at the dealers sadly. My own fault

I’m sure you can just go to dealership with V5 and ID and they order a new key. No drama required
