Noticed this weird patch on my car. Anyone else got this?

It helps protect the bodywork in that area from road debris e.g. stone chips etc.

Also have them on my car.

You notice these more on darker cars.

It's a puncture repair patch put on at manufacture. If the car fails the float test, patches are out on to ensure it holds air.

Don't whatever you do peel it off... It let's all the air out!

Airbags are less effective, and the body loses its curvecous lines. πŸ˜‰

Got 'em on mine, too. Sadly, being white, they're gone a bit yellowish over time. That doesn't slow the car down, though, so not important! :D

Motorcyclists use it all the time on their tanks to stop leathers/knee slides marking the tank. I will find out the name.

Try bodyguard.uk they sell it. PPF sheets cut your own.....

If you put protective film bodyguard uk and goggle you will find it. A single sheet start from Β£20... hope that useful regards phil.
