So I was "building" a new F-type on the Jag website just for fun and noticed that the rear Leaper and Jaguar lettering are now in gloss black.
So called my local Jag dealer and they weren't able to find it on the system. Does anyone know the part number?
I've already removed the lettering, but would like it back as it looks too bare, but much rather have gloss black. Is the leaper just stuck on, or is there a pin hole underneath?

What are you doing about the front grill badge and wheel centre caps, they would be the only chrome parts left?

Black leaper arrived today and was easy to fit, just a bit of adhesive tape that didn’t want to come off from the back of it. Love the subtle look that now ties it in with the rest of the car which came with external black pack, to me it should have been included in the first place.

Looks really good. I hadn't decided if I was going to put the "JAGUAR" lettering back on, but think I will now.

I thought about leaving off the lettering but because the leaper is at an angle it looked a bit odd without it.

Hi all,
Done the black badges swap and just informed the leaper and jaguar are now available to order from the dealer (who had to use the vin from a new model demonstrator)
Part no is T2R46540 £48.42 (leaper and jaguar)

Not quite black but I've got the black pack on my car which is Portofino blue. There's a pic in the photos thread, but this should take you straight to my post
