Ok so got the car .... now the shopping list begins.

Can anyone recommend the best place to buy some carbon fibre trim for around the climate controls, around the gear selector and the funny little bit below the central air con blowers?

Second part to this question. How easy would they be to fit.... (very) basic diy or do I need to find someone to install?

Gonna have plenty more stupid questions for you all soon!
Thanks guys

Have you considered dipping?
I’ve seen excellent results at a fraction of the cost of real carbon fibre..

Four owners are currently carbon dipping everything that can be removed! 😄

Tim, Alasdair, David & Brad will be along shortly with a tutorial...

They are using a company in Leicester. The finished results are amazing. That good, Alasdair, has just carbon dipped the bonnet vents on his SVR. Look fab 👌

A lot of people on the Mustang forum I frequent use dipping on their new generation cars - looks good and so much cheaper.

Get yourself a set of plastic trim removal tools and it’s really easy to prise them off.

Keep an eye out for the genuine article on eBay.

I picked up the lot at a fraction of the original cost.

Hydro dipping looks wonderful, but being anal, I wanted the OEM CF as it saved 2 grams all up weight!

Dipping is great, as others have said its a fraction of the cost and you can opt for a gloss finish is preferred (OEM carbon is a satin finish)
Plastic trim tools are a must, removal of the dash pieces takes about 60 seconds, nice & easy

For what it is worth, the oem satin finish carbon interior trims polish up to a gloss finish really well. Scholl Concepts 30+ polish and DA polisher.
