Just hosed my car off this morning after getting caught in a a'monsoon'!

I deliberately pointed the jet at the bonnet louvers and checked the engine block afterwards whilst I was cleaning around the edges of the engine bay...not a drop of water was found.

Maybe an easy fix is to refrain from pointing your pressure washer in that area!?

Thx! That sounds like what I am after. I have contacted a few places near me in Chelmsford and not been impressed by eith main agent or independent. So I think I’ll give the a ring and do the drive too. Much appreciated!

Tel we have a an R, i think the op has a v6.
The vent design is different on his car

I think the RWD R has the same vents as the V6. The AWD are the different ones.

You think right - it's the drive that makes the difference, not the engine.

I have the bottom ones on my 66 / MY17 V6 Factory fit too. I still get water in .

And top ones aren’t my V6.
Mine have the covered section at the wide end as was posted on a similar thread.
Either a later design change or those are Fleabay knock offs.
