Ghost immobilisers - Silly question perhaps

Looked at a few threads but its a confusing picture.....

Does fitting a Ghost II immobiliser mean that the jag phone app remote climate start become ineffective?

I'm on the verge of paying £449.00 to have one fitted but I really do like the app function especially this time of year.

I know anti-theft should be a priority over a warm car but... well you know... its nice!
