While installing LED footwell lights I noticed that there are no upper trim panels in the footwells. Here's what my passenger footwell looks like, with everything up there just exposed. Same thing on the driver side. Is it normal that there's no trim up there?
In my previous XF there were some trim panels in the footwells which looked like this on the driver side:

Ok, normal then I guess. A bit odd really and I wonder why they didn't put something there. Surely not to save weight. Almost looks like a potential mod.
