What MY year is my F-type Coupe?

Hi Everyone
I'm looking to buy some JLR luxury carpet mats and wanted to be sure which MY year my car was as it quotes "T2R5506 for pre 16MY year RHD cars" and "T2R16571PVJ for 16My year RHD onwards".
My car is a 340 coupe first registered 31.3.16.
Any help much appreciated!

The 10th digit of the VIN identifies the MY - F is MY15, G - MY16, H - MY17, J - MY18.

Is the VIN the long SAJA....code at the bottom of the windscreen on the passenger side?
If so, the tenth character is a G.
So....guess I'm safe to order the T2R16571PVJ carpet mats?!

Yeah, G says yours is MY16.

Just another thing....have looked on the back of the sports mats that are in the car at the moment and they have a date of 23.9.2015 on the label.
Other details: 300283-540, GX5M, 13022BB8PVJ.
Does that confuse matters?
Its a RWD, so if the JLR website says the T2R16571PVJ are for 16MY onwards, then these should be correct even though the original mats are dated 23.9.2015 ?
Just want to make sure I order the correct ones!
As someone else has already commented on the site in regard to JLR accessories, these mats seem to be hugely reduced at the moment as I'm sure they were about £100 when I've looked in the past and now £41 inclusive of post and delivery.

You should be fine, MY always runs ahead of the real year in JLR world so your MY16 was most likely built in 2015!

Hi All,
I was just wondering the same thing. Mine is a "G" so a 2016, even though it was registered in March 2015.

As I had my file out, the mats cost the original owner £96.67 +VAT , so £116. Really good price in clearance.

Ordered up a new set.

If you are unsure, not near car for full VIN, etc then pop your reg into Jaguar warranty system.

Interesting - it shows mine (10th digit J) as MY17. Build date was March 2017.

Thanks for Everyone's help....I've pulled the trigger and ordered the MY16 onwards T2R16571PVJ.
Makes ne wonder what the actual difference would be between these and the T2R5506 pre My16 year mats.....
