Normal exhaust (early cars) = no valves, Active exhaust = valves, Switchable active exhaust = valves + button

Think we’ve established it just gives the ability to control rather than just have it off in comfort and on in dynamic.
But the sound is the same. Concern was you were missing out without it.
As we are on the subject I assume the sound is muted since the 2019 emission laws?

Drove first car today an r dynamic and works exactly as expected.

I have pulled fuse 15 out so my exhaust is permanently open. It makes no difference to the fuel consumption.
