A new P300 in Oz in around 80k UK prices, I paid 65k as I got it with Luxury Tax removed. What price is a new V8 UK?

Having previously had a XE 300 Sport and enjoying it, The P300 suits me fine.And in the F Type, Yes, it still has all the design attributes of the bigger, faster variants, but it doesn't have the ' shouty noise' exhaust element, and that suits me, as I don't want to advertise to the neighbours every time I go out or come home, it fitted into my purchase budget and it still has enough performance and superb handling for me to enjoy or get into trouble,

To be fair, it's really only the startup that wakes the neighbours, when you come back it's perfectly easy to select D and purr home like a tame pussy.

We have a CO2 tax, so ICE's are marked-up hugely.

Yes of course, those not in the UK often have to pay higher prices.
I think the other posters do get my point which is that the P300 IN THE UK is a cheaper option which allowed some to realise their dream of owning an F-Type.
That makes it a very important model in the line up and not to be treated as any lesser car than other model variants.

PhilB, is spot on, yes I could have purchased a faster car, even some fast hatchbacks will leave me standing, but to be able to join the “ pretty car club”
at £57K new, and it turns heads, more than the usual
suspects at this price point, Is quite frankly a joy
