After reading your posts about rising prices, I decided I would do the we buy any car thing to see what they offered for my f type, I payed £29500 less than a year ago, wbac offered me £36500 yesterday online valuation, this would be the only car I've ever owned that I would make money on, ironically it's the only car I've ever owned I don't want to sell even with a potential £7k profit.

Every month they seem to predict the price should go down by about £905 per month but still on the rise it seems.

I'm also after a Fiesta ST line, £0 road tax, etc for the winter!
Compared to last week prices have gone up again by an average of £615. So still going up £600+ per WEEK.

Jaguar are predicting the price should go down by about £905 per MONTH but still on the rise.

It’s going to be a long wait! Getting my garage door installed in August so I’ll be ready when the time comes. I am expecting 6-12 months.

My 4yr old 400 Sport is now £42,785 on WBAC! 😮

And over £44K on AutoTrader for private sale.

That's a good £10K more than last time I checked a year ago or so, and £17K less than I paid 3yrs ago.

I'm now seriously tempted (again) to sell, especially as I very rarely drive it.

That's what I have at the moment as a runaround until delivery of my 'stang at the end of the year.
A 67 reg ST Line 140 that's so much fun.
I'd forgotten that grin factor in a manual pocket rocket.
Absolute hoot of a car.

I think a lot of people are taking advantage and if the cars are not driven then why not.

Just remember if you have a part exchange then that is also worth considerably more at the moment. I have just part exchanged a Golf GTI I bought 12 months ago against the F-Type and I got £500 less then I paid for it. That's after me adding 6,000 miles in the past 12 months. usually the deprecation would be much more. The garage was also willing to do plenty of negotiation. The great trade in, free delivery and vehicle fully taxed were all benefits of trading at the moment. Just a small point but worth checking out. Its not just F- Types that are going up in value.

Er, AIUI car tax isn''t transferable any more, so no benefit there. It's a cunning way for DVLA to get a double month payment for car transfer.

Not sure of your point. Garage is paying 12 months tax.
