Haha, yes - that ‘voice control’ works all the time!

Yes loved the way on my XE I could use VC to call contacts without having my phone plugged in. Often I don’t plug my phone in and so annoys me when I can’t make a call. CarPlay is fine but the VC is definitely a step backwards in the car.

They probably figured the car wouldn't hear your voice over the exhaust ....
