Er, a USB C to regular USB cable? Your phone probably came with one to charge it (don't chargers all use regular USB?).

I'm sorry. IF I would buy an Iphone, the models now all come with a 'lightning' (apple) on the phone end, and a USB-c for the charger site.

So to link it to the car, an intermediate plug USB-C to USB-pc would be needed to be able to wire it to the car..

But --*** TA TA **** --- , we got it to work in the F-Type ! I now have androidauto and waze.. .. nothing to be screaming about since only 10"of the screen

is used and very few setting the way I want things to look like in a satnav..

Had a couple of Motorola phones in the past, very good. My pixel came with this adapter for USB-A to USB-C. Some game console cables also work

So now I'm not embarking and 'going-to-the-other-side' into Apple land..

The android auto functions now ! We tried with my sons android 11 phone, turns out you have to disconnect the phone to reset, and I always declined..

I didn't complaint about connecting my android phone, that - indeed- came with USB-C / USB.

To make it clear the problem would be with an Iphone, I stressed it. That's all.
