Brake spec?

Hi All - me again! Question about brakes...

My car is an S and came with red callipers. And I know the S gets 'High Performance' brakes as standard and can be upgraded to 'Super Performance' brakes, which is what the R has.

So I got a TOPix spec sheet for my car ... and it includes an item 'R PERFORMANCE BRAKE PROGRAM'.

Any ideas what braking system it has? The callipers do appear massive...but according to the brochure, it's only the discs which seem to change.

The top spec brake package has massive discs front and rear. The next one down has the same massive front disc but a much smaller rear disc, while the base one has smaller discs front and rear.

Measure the diameter of the rear disc. 325mm = high performance, 376mm = super performance

From what you’ve said, it sounds like your car has the 380mm front and 376mm rear discs which is the Jaguar Super Performance Braking System.

Easy enough to tell as the front and rear discs should look approx the same size. If the rear discs look a lot smaller then you have the High Performance Braking System.

Alternatively, as GusA suggests.....measure the diameter of the rear discs.

Interestingly my Topix only says: Disc Brake Size Disc Brake Size Frt 19/RR 19, yet the sale sheet says: 380mm Front/376mm Rear Brakes - not sure how they correlate?

Thanks everyone. So it's hard to measure them without removing the wheels...but the advice on the rears being roughly the same size as the fronts was good. And they are. Massive front and rear. So presume they're the super performance brakes. They do stop it, that's for sure! Thanks again all.
