Console and digital dash permanently in dark mode!

When in auto they remain in 'night' mode despite being able to change them manually?
Also, for those with digital dash, in single layout mode is the media meant to be so dark you can’t see album art?

I absolutely agree having same observation. This makes no sense at all do Jaguar listen in to this forum or are we without teeth? Can they respond please?

So do you have same problem with auto permanently selecting dark?
And media to dark ?

I don't have the digital dash but notice the Infotainment system on Auto on mine tends to go between light and dark a few times as I drive to work, it seems to not have a wide band of when it changes and so flicks back and forth. My XE never did that on the older system. So I am guessing the light sensitivity monitor doesn't work well on any of them?

Jaguar Customer Services can help with issues but they do not monitor the forum on a daily basis.
There is a separate section for contacting them preferably via Pm .

Can confirm in auto mode it stays in dark mode for me. I would have thought it was linked to the sensor for the headlights but that works perfectly so it mustn’t be, unless it’s a software issue.

Thanks, looks more like software as it’s not just me.
Is the media dark?

This is an issue on other JLR products too. My 2021 Defender has the digital dash, and the centre information panel is almost unreadable! Complain to the dealer, needs a software fix!
