Puddle lights

Didn’t like the OEM puddle lights, can see them from inside the car and not part of the ambience lighting.
On my 2020 P300 Evoque the puddle lights have a stylised Evoque silhouette.

Came with two wired tails but not needed

Isn't that in the wrong way round?
Normally the ones that spell out the brand are supposed to be readable to the person opening the door.

I know I’m in a Jaaag!
Maybe that’s what the extension cables are, to turn the lights 180Deg? The OEM cable is too short otherwise.
I’m happy as they are though. If you hadn’t mentioned it I would be none the wiser and still the least bovered!

I bought some a few years ago. You can rotate them.
I was disappointed that the “J” was the wrong shape though.

Haven't you just fitted them in the wrong sides?

Shouldnt be handed. Checked before I fitted them and both exactly the same.
It’s a 5 min job so will check
It didn’t bother me until mentioned now bother me at the worst I can extend the cables with the supplied extension looms

They are handed. easy enough to swap around.

Most of those puddle lights with the Jaguar symbol don't last very long before becoming just a blur.

I fitted them and they looked great for a while but I've since refitted the original lights.

They have lasted longer than a week so far. I don't expect them to last too long just a bit of fun really and the wife hates them which makes me happy...
