We took a drive up into the mountains for a couple of nights with friends. About a 660kms return trip and really impressed with the car. Comfortable for 3 hours non-stop, ample luggage space (albeit without spare wheel or luggage cover) and undoubtedly the best average fuel economy I’ve had out of any car I’ve owned - 7.3 l/100kms. That included my mate giving it a thrashing up the hill this morning. He’s owned both a 250KW Coupe and a V8 R Convertible. He was suitably impressed with the added performance of my 280KW over his coupe although then mumbled something about “tuning” mine for an additional 44KW’s. Maybe.
