I am thinking of buying a 2019 plate F-Type. It comes with a 12 month Jaguar used approve warranty.

Are people talking about this Jaguar warranty https://jaguar.motor-admin.com/warranty ... election-2 as the extended warranty? I cannot see a 'select' option.

Can anyone advise if the original 3 year manufacturer warranty continues to transfer to the second owner? I assume it is concurrent then to the used approved 12 month warranty.

Yes it continues to the 2nd owner , then to the 12 month warranty , I have learned on here that some have got 2 years approved warranty with theirs but sure it is down to the dealer

I'm surprised at that - are you saying the approved warranty stacks on the end??

So a 2019 car would have three years to 2022, then 12 months on top to 2023 before considering any extended warranty? I'd have thought the used approve would run concurrent - good tip on pushing for 2 years.

No , if you buy a 19 reg car the 3 year man warranty has expired or nearly so the approved warranty will run side by side or be the only warranty on it

This might help those of you expecting warranty cover coming up soon. This dropped through my door this morning for a 2017 V6S coupe

But will the new small car pay for any problems your Jag experiences? ;)

The cost of a replacement diff would make your eyes water. Not much difference with the other warranty companies either so far.

At the end of the day it's your choice and money but at that price they won't be getting mine
