Left the car into a local wheel refurbishment specialist today to have my Turbine alloys stripped back and then powder coated, resprayed & re-lacquered. This is to repair a bit of corrosion which is starting to show through on the spokes and a bit of kerb damage scrape on one! After much deliberation, have decided to keep them silver, mainly as the exterior trim is all chrome finish.

Missing her already.

No. The refurbishment guy said it's quite common to start to see corrosion in this spot. He said it's because the sharp edge/corner at the back of the spoke makes it difficult for the original paint to adhere properly.

Full on day today. 2 stage machine polish and then finished with a coat of HD wax. Hardwork but we’ll worth for the results :D
