Apple car play

Hi all returning from a 8 week trip away driving to Portugal(will send details when home) and using car most days the only fault has been the head unit and sat nav is a bit dated re music etc ,thinking of fitting the unique auto Developments system behind the arm rest this I think can be bluetoothed then can use google maps etc just wondering if any one has fitted this views please we Jane the 8 inch screen with the side buttons
