Hello all,
Has anyone changed from the original f type to the final shape car?

Would be interested to hear your thoughts regarding the differences between the two especially the exhaust sounds we know and love.

Were there any other surprises such as improvement to steering \ride\handling?

Thinking about if it's worth the cost of updating or will the changes be noticeable enough.

I've got a P575 R 75 Convertible coming in July (hopefully), so I'll see how that will compare with my outgoing MY18 SVR Coupe.

I believe the suspension for the new ones is carried over from the SVR, so I probably won't notice as much difference as those coming from a non-SVR.

I suspect it'll be considerably less raucous on the exhaust side of things, but no doubt will still sound good in isolation. Digital display will be nice!

I'll post an update on my thoughts once I've had the new car for a bit.

00by what's your reason for changing your MY18 SVR? Or just fancy a newer one? :D

Oozy I would expect the SVR to be more desirable in time over the newer model.

Exactly that, just fancied a newer one (and a convertible). I haven't had the SVR long, mainly because I didn't expect the new car to be built as quickly as it's looking like it will!

I'd keep both, if I was allowed

I tried a 6-month-old P575 before buying a 19MY SVR (I also tried a 18MY SVR).
Biggest difference was the exhaust noise.
Handling and ride felt similar - the P575 maybe feeling the most modern/refined/best built as one might expect.
If you love the noise of your MY18 SVR you might find the P575 too quiet.
I went for an SVR due to unique looks, carbon bits etc and therefore feels more special/collectible but I think the P575 will be “better” car in some ways - not least because it will be new.
I’m sure you will enjoy - currently good weather for a convertible!

Look forward to hearing about your 575.
One of the interesting things will be how the steering feels as my 16 was the first time it went electric on the f.
Must be exciting getting a box fresh jaag
