Had the car a few months now and decided to take a look at the hood, with a view to checking the drain points, I noticed that with the hood in different positions it needs a good clean where the hood finally seals at the back and the rubbers could do with a silicon lube.
But I could not see the drain points that I was after, can anyone help please.

They are quite small drains so worth checking a few times a year. Also, the front door window outer seals are easy to take off and wash in a bucket, really worth doing as the design (new and old) holds debri which can scratch the outside glass.

Very interesting the windows are already showing scratch marks, how do you get them off for cleaning as I don't want to damage them, also what do you use to clean the hood drains?

If you open the door you pull back the rubber at the top of the door shut and there is a single screw to remove.
Then lift from that end and pull slightly back from the hinge end to release - if that all makes sense!
A good soak and brush down with a toothbrush and clean up the line that forms on the edge of the paintwork where the seal sits.
Easy diy and a satisfying result 🙂

Just taken off the front door outer window seals to clean them due to scratch marks starting the show on the windows.
When I got them off they had loads of road grit in them, like you said soapy water and a tooth brush sorted the problem.
Thanks

Not sure how much this will help, but here is a picture from my old 2013 V6.
The white bit is some 3d printer filament that I'd poked into the drain hole. It should give you an idea where to look if it's similar on the newer ones.
