Searched the online handbook but without success.
I want to clean the inside of the hood window, but have to remove the wind deflector, which does not want to slide up and out, it seems to be locked in position.
Any tips please, or the correct name of it so i can find in on the jag site.
Thanks in advance.

You just move the top lugs of the 2 oblong lugs that are attached to the roll hoops and can then lift the deflector up and out.
Both to the front I think, but can’t remember as my deflector has been left in the garage since the first week I got the car - doesn’t really do a lot and spoils the lines with the roof down, whilst restricting rear view too.

When you take it off give it a soak in some soapy water to clean any dust and pollen out of the mesh, as this reduces its effectiveness - hence not recommending a 3rd party Perspex type replacement that you see being touted.
