Hi All (and SimpleR in particular!)
I've been a member on here since 2018 when I had my V6S and am now looking to get back into one.
SimpleR would you mind doing a check on VK67 FDZ for me please?
Really appreciate the support you provide to fellow enthusiasts!
Request for reg check by SimpleR please!
Welcome back!!
This is car 53740
It was owned by Jaguar and recovered by COPART so I am presuming it was used abroad or for launch materials for the facelift model.
However I can find no trace of it anyway but Jaguar did a batch of that reg plate for their own use.
VK67 FDA - Was one of the XJ R mules - https://www.evo.co.uk/jaguar/xjr/20242/ ... ks-a-punch (scroll down)
VK67 FDE - XJ Nurburgring launch car
VK67 FDF - Was an E-Pace used for driving on 2 wheels and to demonstrate tilt angles
VK67 FDG - XJ Nurburgring Taxi
VK67 FDL - Was the Project 8 car used Nurburgring testing and then Saloon car record - https://uk.motor1.com/news/184254/jagua ... rburgring/
VK67 FDM - Was an E-Pace demostrator
VK67 FDO - Was an XF Shooting Brake - Used in Germany and abroad for magazine tests and was also put on other reg plates as well - https://www.autoblog.com/2017/11/03/201 ... 9fqlcomtzS (scroll through the pictures to find it)
VK67 FDZ - This car
After it came back from wherever it's first 4,972 miles were done... It had an oil and brake fluid change before disappearing for 6 months until it popped up at a Jaguar dealer in Newcastle before it was moved onto Scotland
With any used car I would highly recommend an independent vehicle check such as Car Vertical as this vehicle has potentially had a lot of owners and gaps in service history.
