TTW apple carplay upgrade

Hi all

I am looking at CarPlay upgrades and wondering if anyone has had one of the TTW (apple carplay uk) upgrades done. I have a 400sport with the physical buttons either side of screen. They talk about Incontrol pro, but the jag website seems to indicate pro is only in the 10 inch screen

Any help is greatly appreciated as I am in NZ and want to get as much info as possible before committing

Welcome! The pro system also came in 8 inch form. Since your car is a 400 I presume it's MY18 and if I recall correctly they all came with the pro version as of MY18, regardless of screen size. Not sure about NZ spec cars but I'm pretty sure that was the case on other markets.

The main options to get CarPlay in a MY18 car with the 8" pro system are

- Replace the screen with a 10 inch screen and get the software updated to the latest OEM version which includes CarPlay. I've seen that indies like LR Retrofits in the UK do this.
- Get the UAD kit installed.
