Hi
I'm new here and I know there are a number of other topics on Active Exhaust but couldn't find an answer for my issue.
I have a 2015 V6 Non-S Coupe but with the active exhaust option. My right hand exhaust valve keeps getting stuck closed and when it's stuck there is a lot of rattling/vibration noise. I can reach under the car and force it open with a pair of pliers and when I get some time I will try to fully loosen it up and get it working again. I have been starting and driving with it open but somehow it seems to have accidentally closed again and rattling noise is back.
I thought best was to just remove the fuse for now until I get it fixed. Being a 2015 I think it should be fuse 43 in passenger footwell. I do have this fuse so I have removed it but the active exhaust still works. I have not noticed anything else not working. Were there any other fuses used for active exhaust in earlier cars like mine?
Thanks
Active Exhaust Question
Fuse 15 in the engine bay is the one for later cars - does your handbook have anything about it?
It's just occurred to me: I thought that fuse 43 was in the box between and behind the seats, but I may be wrong (wouldn't be the first time!).

Hello dxb,
You have a desirable optional extra on your car. Why don’t you get it repaired or the whole thing replaced?
Happened to me. Was a relief to remove the metallic, grating, noise, & enjoy everything working as should. Especially the noise

The owners manual for MY16 appears to show F43 (Red 10a) as well as F15 (Tan 5A) for the active exhaust.

Yes, that was it. A red 10A F43 and also the 5A F15 in engine compartment. I didn't realise there would be 2 for it.mickjaguar wrote: ↑Tue Aug 15, 2023 7:44 pm The owners manual for MY16 appears to show F43 (Red 10a) as well as F15 (Tan 5A) for the active exhaust.

I will fix it eventually when I get more time (or give up and pay someone to do it! )DaddyDarren wrote: ↑Tue Aug 15, 2023 4:53 pm Hello dxb,
