Yep, give it a charge and if it's still no good you could try a recon. I used the recon function on our XE a couple of times on the past and it did get the stop start working for a little while (the early XE battery is notorious for this and later cars had a larger 95ah one as standard). Three years later that XE original battery is still in the car (nearly 8 years old now).

At step 1 the voltage is 15.8 and in recon mode it’s a maximum of 15.8, so there is no difference in voltage level:-

Well I took a punt and gave the agm/recond mode a go. Very happy, starter sounds healthier and the stop start is back again straight away now, I still turn it off but it's good to know the battery is healthy. No warnings or electrical issues either 👍

I'm not convinced that you can ever get the battery to a fully charged state just from driving the car.
