Nice article in today’s Sunday Times Magazine. Very complimentary about the F-Type, so much so, he’s bought one!

V6 too. He knows his stuff 😄

Although he describes white/black colour combo as ‘a bit Gola league’ 😂

Rather spoils the "Jaguars are unreliable" myth, too. Which we've known for years - hope this doesn't mean they'll stop being the used bargains as a result.

On this video Sam thought about returning home to get his F type to continue his journey!

Great stuff! It's a great sign when someone who has driven the most exciting cars in the world and can afford most of them chooses the F-Type. This reminds me again of his legendary initial Top Gear review of the convertible V6 S. His latest purchase also seems to resonate well with what he wrote when he tested the coupé:

"There are three models. A bottom-rung V6 that you should ignore because it will make you feel a failure. A monstrous V8 that you should also ignore, because it has an electronic differential that doesn’t like being a differential or electronic.

And then there’s the model to choose, the middle-order V6 S, which has more than enough power to make your armpits smell and a proper mechanical differential that works jolly well. Really jolly well. This is a car that delivers the sort of fun that makes you burst out laughing. It is also the second-prettiest car on the market today, after its soft-top sister."

This reminds me that it's time to go out for a blast in mine. :D

He ignores his own advice and bought the 335bhp base model with no options, he must be short of cash?
