Hi All,
I was doing an underbonnet detail and I've discovered that the previous servicing company (before my ownership) has snapped off the little plastic tabs that hold the pollen filter cap down. I have temporarily taped it down to keep a good seal (Although I think they have also installed the pollen filter backwards as the paper flaps would fold in when the blower motor is on instead of fold out to seal it properly). I have sourced a new filter housing but I can't get the bloody thing out. Has anyone replaced one before or does anyone have access to the service manual?
Also, could someone confirm the pollen filter installation direction? I think the paper flaps should be on the side of the motor so they open out when the ventilation is on?
Thanks,
Patric
