Seat swap

Hi

I’m looking at upgrading my seats, they are the basic ones leather and simply up down forward and back movements, no heat or memory but if I was to buy SVR ones or similar with more functionality would they work just forward back and all the basics I’m not bothered about adding the additional functions ie wings and heat just want the new seats to function as the basic old ones

My seats in at the minute have the manual pull adjustment to move the seat forward and back will the rails need to be swapped

My base seats were replaced in July. Do a search for ‘Base to Performance Seat Swop’. The garage who fitted them took the modules from my ‘old’ seats & fitted them in the new seats. Beware F-Type seats are VIN sensitive. My car now thinks my new seats are my old seats. All previous functions are retained.

Disregard those with a million movements, lumbar & inner thigh massage functions. It’s usually the performance seats out of a V6S that are the one to get
