Great finds thank you - will do a vertical check tomorrow (not set up an account yet)
In the market for an F-Type..... advice needed
No correction needed - the 380W system just says "Meridian".stefan9107 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 30, 2024 11:30 pm As a side note, someone correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the 770W speaker system they are quoting in the spec normally have the word "surround" written on the speakers in the door?

I'm going to view a couple of cars this weekend at a couple of dealerships, with a view to hopefully putting a deposit down either on the day or not long after as I'll then be out of the country for a week or so (I don't want to miss the boat on the used car market swinging back up and then I'm priced out - I know it's not going to change overnight but no one has a crystal ball).
I'm viewing: https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-detail ... SE16%207EN (the higher priced white R AWD one, one of you already checked out the history on it the other day thank you)
and
https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-detail ... SE16%207EN (lower priced white R AWD, looks a bit more worn in the photos and I want to see what it's like in person) This dealership also has a red R RWD for sale, I 99% set on getting an AWD but just wanted to also see / test an RWD, + see if things like the old infotainment and sticky interior buttons are a turn-off https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-detail ... SE16%207EN
A black AWD R listing went live yesterday, much more reasonably priced at just under 34k https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-detail ... rs&fromsra ........ Now I've not been looking at black examples or darker colours in general as from pictures at least I feel like the pretty lines and angles of the F-Type aren't as obvious, has someone owned / seen any black R's in person to know if it actually looks a lot better in the flesh? Because if so I can definitely be tempted for a purchase thats £6k under that white one I want.
Cheers

Also a second quick (probably dumb) question - I'm on CarVertical but it needs either the reg or the VIN to generate a report, can't find either on the AT listing, so does this mean I have to ask the dealer for either one to get a report? Can a dealer refuse to do this?

They can probably refuse but it would cost them a sale (they would always have to tell you at some point so you can get the insurance and tax). Unless there is something dodgy in the cars past, they would have no reason to refuse, and if there is something dodgy you wouldn't want it anyway.gc301 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 02, 2024 7:15 pm Also a second quick (probably dumb) question - I'm on CarVertical but it needs either the reg or the VIN to generate a report, can't find either on the AT listing, so does this mean I have to ask the dealer for either one to get a report? If it's local to you, you can easily just walk up and get the VIN off the windscreen in the position shown below.
