I am due to collect my F Type on April 6th and as part of this process, the dealer will be taxing the car on my behalf.
My question is; can someone tell me what the cost will be for this as I am struggling to find out from the various websites and information on line which seem to contradict each other.
The car is a September 2019 model so its a 69 plate V6 S Chequered Flag edition 380 BHP.
I am assuming at this age, it will still fall into the rip off category of the increased tax for the first 5 years; am I right in thinking this?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers
Andrew

I thought it might be £570; oh well, never mind, just have to drive it more to get my money's worth!
I digress, but one huge gubbermint scam to appease the greenies.
The theory seems to go something along the lines of the more VED you pay, the cleaner the air will be that we breathe?
Same old, same with Low Traffic Neighbourhoods (LTN) - the public are conned into believing that in LTN districts, we are only that pocket of air. The reality is the air has actually blown in from over the North Atlantic….

SVR Coupe in Ammonite.
I suspect it will be slightly more than the £570 as they were the 23/24 rates not the 24/25 rates. The standard £180 is now £190 and the luxury car tax went up from £390 to £410 I think however I am unsure if the £390 sticks with the vehicle or not.Yorkshire Lad wrote: ↑Thu Mar 28, 2024 10:59 pm I thought it might be £570; oh well, never mind, just have to drive it more to get my money's worth!
