The plan was to get 10 or more interested and registered to go. - We only have 5 at present.
Looking at the Cars in the park web site they say the following......
Small group parking (that's us) will be allocated a parking area but they suggest we arrive together.
Groups over 10 cars on the other hand will be allocated "a specific area"

The following have paid and are booked in
Big Bri and Northern Gooner are both travelling from Newcastle will travel "in convoy" (if two is classed as a convoy) We aim to arrive at 10:00am
Gillie is from Stockport
gsxrm3 is from Grimsby
Frp1 is from Leeds
I'm not sure it's practical for Stockport, Grimsby and Leeds to meet up But I suggest we arrive at 10:00am and wait for us all to arrive a couple of hundred yards inside the main entrance. Then we can drive in and park up as a group

...well....I'm still not sure if I can make it (right now it's looking fairly doubtful) but I would certainly like to go and enjoy the meet up etc...

I haven't booked yet because I just don't want to tempt fate.

How late can I book and still be able to park along side the F-Type group?

I'm pretty sure you can leave it to the last minute.
CITP were saying a few days ago that they had access to the whole of the grounds so there is no restriction on space or attending numbers.
You must get a ticket though (and pay via paypal) so I would have thought you could pay and print the night before.

Sorry fellas, but I will have to bow out of this meet up. Feeling seriously miffed but I can't be in two places at the same time so I have to prioritise as I already had predicted.
I hope you have a super duper meet. Drive safe and have fun.

Just a note to those going to Sports Cars in the Park on Sunday.
I tried to put in the postcode for Newby Hall but I cant get past HG4.
It seems like the system is expecting me to put in another number and it wont allow me to put in a space.
I ended up picking the location from the map - which is a bit tedious to say the least.

Anyway - just a word of warning in case you need to do the same thing on the morning.
Best having a go tomorrow - just in case it takes you longer than expected to get the postcode to enter.

If you do manage - maybe you can show me where I'm going wrong

See you all at 10:00 just inside the main gates.
