Hello,

Have fancied a drive to this place & was considering organising an F-Type meet. Sent email asking about organising something & received a less than enthusiastic response.

Seems this place is becoming a bit of a Mecca & gets very busy of a weekend. Cannot imagine how it would be on a sunny weekend in spring.

Anyone on here been?

Not been but would like to go having briefly looked it up.
What do you mean by less than enthusiastic reply? What did you ask for?

My email asked if they could accommodate an informal meet of approx 20 F-Type’s on a Saturday morning in April/May. Was sent the above. To be fair they must have recived dozens of emails of a similar thread. You can, obviously, just turn up but wanted to give them notice & book, if required.

Yes agree. ‘Less than enthusiastic’ was slightly over-egging it but was expecting more of a yes no problem, confirm numbers with a bit of notice & we will reserve some car parking for you!

Apparently a forthcoming event has been cancelled, due to numbers getting out of hand. This may have been an unofficial event.

I follow them on Insta & they get some fantastic machinery turning up. A few gleaming F-Types would be great

Seems like they are organising their diary and something might come of it. Count me in!

Will email Phil again in a few weeks to try & book an official slot or confirm we can just turn up.

Will put out a few dates on here & FB & see who is up for going.
