I learned from the US forum yesterday that the locking nut should also be under the growler's chin, for extra brownie points ... ;)

Very pleasant socially distanced meetup today. Spent very little time looking at Jags and many hours chatting to other humans!

@DaddyDarren I got 35mpg driving home. Strictly stuck to ALL speed limits. 😁

Thoroughly enjoyed it today and was great to meet some of the forum members!

Shame about the rain but I had a clear run home with roof down at last!

Hopefully see some of you up at Gaydon on 1 August.

Really good to meet up today. At one point I thought we would have 7 in the convoy, when a black vert filtered between us when joining the M27 at Fareham. Our cars were miles apart, as shown in the photo, some more than others πŸ˜‰

Likewise, it was really great to put a few faces to forum handles and forum handles to real names! We really enjoyed meeting you all and swapping stories and car info. Must do more of this.
Wifey says the best bit was the convoy in to the Museum. It was fun and reassuring to see so many safe/sensible and speed limit adhereing drivers ;)

Sorry for the delay but we've been off grid camping - in perfect weather
