Took a trip to Aviemore yesterday and drove up to the ski area. After looking around for a while we drove to the town of Aviemore just 3.3 miles away. When was got home I looked at the Jaguar remote app and saw that the journey took 7 minutes at an average of 30mph and we got 51.1mpg! It was steeply downhill all the way but I never imagined that in any circumstances, next time I will log the reverse journey.

yep that must be a record - best Ive had in my 340 was 38.8 - steady 70 mile motorway run at 60 mph with no ac on - just as an experiment to see what I could get.

Worst was just over 12 driving like a loon in maximum bang and crackle mode Smile

Just shows what a split personality these great cars have.

Sorry, meant to say Loch Morlich, not Avimore.

I know the route well - been coming up to the Aviemore area for the last 30 years - seem to remember that route is very very downhill Smile might be more like 20 mpg on the way back up

Don't think your wrong, the hill is very steep and was off the throttle most of the time.
