Hi all,
Finally took delivery of my new 2L F-Type yesterday, really pleased with it. Very easy to handle, but haven't tried to push it very hard at this stage until I get used to it, and the weather not brilliant at this time of year to be too clever! In terms of exhaust noise, noticeably louder than your average car, but possibly on the quiet side for those who like the roar of the larger engined models.
Thankfully had the parking aids and reversing camera options which make it a bit easier to get into the garage, would really recommend these as visibility at the back is very limited. Lots of other options to play with, but will have more time to try things out when I have a few days spare later next week. Hopefully will post a picture when I have some time.
Cheers
Jason

Yes, love to see some pics. I think I heard a 2 litre about a month ago when walking along. I remember that It did sound slightly different when it went past but not enough for me to turn around to look for the single exhaust. Plenty of racket just as an F type should have.
Not really the time of year for gunning it around, as you say. Wednesday was completely dry, but at only 6 degrees and my P zero's can get a bit tail waggy, as they really don't cope with cold weather at all, particularly when down to 3mm.
Have fun. I stuck some chevron tape on my garage floor to make reversing in easy, by aiming the rear wheel along the tape using the door mirror.

Finally took some pictures yesterday haven given the car it's first wash. Have now worked out how to get the car consistently in the right position in the garage so I can get out, but requires moving the seat back a bit first to make it easier. Really enjoying the car so far!
