Thanks, all advice greatly appreciated! I would like to go through an official dealer but getting quotes from carwow etc must help with negotiations.

I've never been convinced by the GAP insurance etc - is it worth it? Anyone had to use it and would recommend it?

Looking to order for next year delivery due to my current job (and bank balance!)
I wouldn't buy a car at this cosy without it. Mine was vehicle replacement cover/return to invoice. For about £300 a no brainer for me.

Drivethedeal always gave the biggest discounts but I've just noticed they've removed all Jaguar models now - must have happened recently as I used to check every month or so out of curiosity.

Ignore the dealer offered GAP insurance offered it will be an uncompetitive price.

ALA GAP insurance is outstanding value and forum recommended.

I've just taken out 4 yr gap with ALA. They're offering 25% discount. No brainer IMHO. Just over £300 to cover £60K.

I agree, haggle hard, more leverage if you have access to the cash and no P/X.
I achieved 13% off the list price as noted earlier.

Enjoyable sport as well.

Good to hear from another V6S Coupe owner with a manual box.

@Deux Points.

wow.. a dealer at 5 ánd at 7 miles... ..no wonder they can not survive... My nearest dealer is about 25km south, the other about 27km's north.

Then I have one 70km's east and one 45km's west... But the one I go to is 100km North-West... :mrgreen:

I agree with previous posts, use car wow and achieved about 12% discount on my SVR. Took the quote to my local dealer, who not only matched, but threw in a 3 year service plan, wheel and tyre insurance, Gardex and Gap Insurance. The deals are there if you ask the question.
