A silly newbie question , what is the difference between selecting Sport by moving gear selector to side and selecting Dynamic from mode switch?
Handbook doesn't seem to elaborate on exactly what difference is??
Or do I select both for more fun?
Only just over a week into ownership and loving it, spent more time cleaning it than actually driving yet!!!

Hi Stucart.

These switch two different things..;
- gear selector to the side - sports mode = manual gearchange with flippers or gearlever .. DO NOT USE IN LAUNCH CONTROL MODE !!!
- dynamic mode : changes revs at which autobox changes gears, sound of exhaust, color of display and suspension settings in the more
expensive models, I believe the "S-type" ...

Tip for you : enter your car type, model and build year in your signature, also your general geograpical location can be helpfull..
Not your entire adress, but something like "London" or "SW UK" , would be nice to know..

Cheers,
Dan

You can use Sports gearbox mode, Dynamic mode and launch control at the same time....I spent a day at a charity drag race doing just that. :D

Maybe Dan meant not to use the manual shift in launch control - hopefully he'll explain.

Select Dynamic, steering wheel straight (it won't engage otherwise), Select Drive or sport G'box Drive, with your left foot on the brake, press the loud pedal a little, it will tell you its engaged on the display in the centre of the dash.......remove left foot, press right foot hard simultaneously.....much noise and rapid progress ensues :lol: :lol:

Start on a straight bit if tarmac.
Left foot on brake, select Dynamic and D or S.
Right foot gently on the throttle until the message centre tells you Launch Control is activated.
Then left foot up and right foot down and enjoy the ride. :D
