Enjoyed a great VIP tour yesterday at Castle Bromwich, and here's three pictures of our car. It should be complete end of the week, and hopefully without any problem for delivery to the dealer ready for our collection on 2nd March. I've pretty much exhausted all the youtube videos I can find on the car, so the next month will require great patience! Having spent the last 6 weeks seeing almost no F Types on the road at all, yesterday so a welcome surfeit! Of interest, 75% are LHD for export, and a ratio of £:1 coupe to convertible. So ours will be a rarity .. Facelift spec in production since start of Jan.

Will post more when we get the car "for real".

Essential spec: F Type, 2.0, almost all options. Portofino blue.

Yes. Tour guide had helpfully taken some earlier pictures. I think the whole car is 3 or 4 days from start to finish. 45 a day is production rate, one shift four days a week.

Hope to do one of these tours in the future, questions I would ask is like why some panels never seem to line up on these cars , tailgate alignment , etc

There was quite a bit about how panels are carefully checked for alignment etc, for example doors are fitted then any fine adjustment done by "hammer" rather than undoing hinge bolts, obviously all before car is painted. I'll see at the end how it comes out

It's great that you've shared your baby's Sonogram. It's really interesting. Take a close up of the engine
