I’m the same as many on here and like to avoid the morons who park next to me regardless of how far from danger I park. Banging doors, using my car for alignment, etc.
This has to be the perfect spot (with awareness of the bollards and where your front bumper is)
So many supermarkets would simply block this off, but credit to Tesco, who marked out a slot..

Good spot but yep, reversing with the roof up that aft 3/4 vision as some person with a trolley and on their phone uses the crossing...

No trolleys around there and it’s a crossing to nowhere. If someone is going to key the car they’ll do it wherever more likely on street parking
My real fear is mothers in SUV’s fighting to get kids in the rear child seat, or OAP’s who seem to manage to batter the next car getting in or out..
