Never done this before and would take some head scratching to get the dates right but here is the list

Fiat 600 - air
cooled rust bucket in fetching maroon colour, fitted an aftermarket reversing
lamp myself

VW Beetle - 6v
supply meant no wipers unless you revved the engine

Mini Copper - 998cc
on the logbook, 1275 Copper S engine under the bonnet, WD40 in the glove box

Morris Oxford -
bench seats and two tone green/cream

Austin Maxi - putrid
green colour, seats 5 students though

MGB Roadster - 1972
model, last of the chrome bumper cars, polished it for MG Car Club meetings

Vauxhall Astra 1.4 -
First brand new car and first company car, first new shape Astra in the country
in 1984

Ford Sierra 1.8 GLX
- got promoted to Grade 7, babe magnet Smile

Ford Escort 1.4L -
changed jobs to a company that didn't give 'status' cars

Rover 216SE -
company car, wife worked for Unipart so we had a matching pair

VW Golf GTI -
started out on my own and had £5k to spend

BMW 320i SE -
business looking good, contract hire is great, spoilers, side skirts and rear
heads cost extra

Vauxhall Cavalier
1.6L - business went bust in 1990
recession, needed transport and had £5k to spend again

Honda Prelude -
loved the look of the car, always hated the fact it didn't have alloy wheels

Toyota Celica GT4 -
thought I was Carlos Sainz

Nissan 300 ZX - last
300ZX into the UK in 1994 on an M plate, needed traction control fitting for rainy days

Mercedes E430 -
children wouldn't fit into the 300ZX anymore

BMW 735i - luxury
barge with more gadgets than the Mercedes

Porsche 996
Cabriolet - loved it but the dreaded RMS issue meant selling it before it cost
me big money

Shogun SWB -
runabout and first off roader

BMX X5 3.0d SE -
first of my three X5's

BMW X5 3.0d M-Sport
- more bling and side skirts with 20" wheels

Mercedes SL500 -
rekindled desire for open top motoring again

BMW 635d Cabriolet -
kids wanted the wind in their hair too, great cruising car

BMW X5 4.0d M-Sport - current X5, plenty of
power and tech to play with

Mini Countryman All4 Cooper S - rear seats
permanently folded for dog transport

Mercedes SL350 -
thought I'd like it but very dull to drive

Jaguar F-Type S - enjoying driving for fun
again, "don't worry love I'll go for you"

Bold type are current cars. That's 28 cars in total over 38 years of driving and excludes my wifes various cars which range from a Fiat Uno to a Saab 900 convertible and an A4 cabriolet.
