The 128s was like a rusty fridge with an engine in. But I learnt in it well enough. On one of my lessons the clutch went and had to drive 20 miles matching the road speed to engine speed to change gear. I learnt a lot on that lesson. Another time out the accelerator cable broke and had to use the manual choke to get some revs to get home. Fun and games

update: minus F-Pace ( order cancelled today)

Now deciding on what to have instead. Considering the X3, GLC and Q5 as more proven cars in a similar size SUV category. None of these are exciting, but there are too many issues with the F-Pace right now and I'm not gambling my money proving Jaguar's new SUV however nice it is on a test drive.

Does anyone have any preference or alternatives for 45K or less ?

Bummer on the F-Pace!

Indeed though, have learnt lessons about buying cars early in their productions years!

Are you looking new or used?

Either way an SQ5 would be a fantastic SUV choice Wink

it turns out that a wire harness in the door was not clipped in correctly. I wonder what else is not clipped in correctly.

The SQ5 is a very nice car, but I have a sports car already, so the Q5 is an option. Although it's due an upgrade this year.
