Little did I realise when handed a calendar at Christmas to hang in my home office that 3 months later I would have an F Type S as featured on the June page sat on my drive

I completely understand where you're coming from.
Little did I realise when I first joined JLR at the Gaydon site nearly four years ago, seeing the prototype Coupé driving around that I'd be even considering ordering one, let alone being in the position of taking delivery in early August! I started our with knackered out Land Rovers (still have both of them!), and would never have thought I'd be 27 and about to have what I would only have called a dream car back then!
What lucky people we are!
