Oh, if only they made a hatchback version of the XE........Project 8 looks really good. A classy looking high performance saloon.

It's a big thumbs up from me.

If you thought an F-Type SVR sounded good, just wait until you hear one of these in person.. It's a seriously noisy car!

Can't be avoided with that kind of power and therefore speed on tap.

I don't think the intention is to make many of them. I can imagine that It's more of a design statement to show what Jaguar can do to the XE.

While I like such design excercises it's Just a halo car in the HP and performance arms race in which Jaguar can't be seen to be left behind by any of the big German makes.
In reality I can't see it as much use even racing as they have engine requirements, so unless a homologation excercise or to use use body shells around the globe then it's all a bit flawed, but a hoot to drive for sure...
