Do you have to pass some kind of pratt test to drive one?

Not come across on yet, that didn’t rev engine or make some kind of aggressive manoeuvre, to ensure I was aware of their presence.

Saturday, had the displeasure of watching a bright blue four door 67 plate trying to rev engine as high as possible in a line of slow moving, stop/start traffic.

The Gripper Stebson of the road 😄

Tim, please tell me you shut them up every now & again?!

He was just trying to see if he could get it to sound in any way decent....

( we’ve got an M3, it sounds crap but it never makes stupid manoeuvres :D )

Perhaps he’s owned an Audi for a few years and recently moved to BMW

Would not wish to denigrate all M4 drivers, I’m sure some are driven by pleasant, upstanding characters. However, the ones I’ve come across recently, all seem to drive in an aggressive manner 🤔

Hope you on the mend Leo’s Nipple? Jaguar Breakfast Club in November could be good turn out for F-Types! 👍

November would be great, but I doubt I’ll be driving this side of Christmas :(

I have a 2014 v8 S convertible and my other car is an Austin Yellow M4 competition pack.

I can vouch that some M4 drivers are pleasant upstanding characters. I drive both sensibly at all times.

The Jag does sound mega although the M4 is a great car which I use as a daily. BMW tech trumps the jag every time, surround view, head up display, good stereo

Agree on the BMW tech.

I find the M3 a bloody awful ride though - I live out in the sticks and it doesn’t give confidence driving these types of roads.
Too crashy by far.
Glad it’ll be gone next week, after 3 years. ( although it’s been 100% reliable in that time)

Seem to be invisible trying to get out of junctions and it really does get negative vibes from other road users.
Unlike the Jag and the Lotus...

I think the current shape M3 is a really nice looking car; and if I needed a 4 seat rocket it would probably be top of the list. It would have to be grey with all the grills in black and the competition pack. And and aftermarket exhaust. Interesting what you say about the ride; I found my E92 M3 a bit harsh too
